CryoTherapy Treatments

SCHEDULING NOW!

We are elated to offer Targeted Cryotherapy. Targeted cryotherapy treatments is cold therapy that is utilized for a variety of health benefits.

What is Targeted Cryotherapy?

Cryotherapy is a therapeutic technique that involves exposing the body or specific body parts to extremely cold temperatures for a short duration. This can be done through various methods, including whole-body cryotherapy (immersing the entire body in a cryo chamber) or localized or targeted cryotherapy (applying cold to specific areas). The cold exposure is believed to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) effects, promoting recovery, reducing muscle soreness, and offering other health benefits. This treatment dates back to 2500 BC to the Egyptians using cold therapy for injuries and inflammation. With the advanced technology, targeted cryotherapy offers quick, precise and highly effective treatment solutions.

The area of concern is targeted and treated in just a few minutes, providing the most effective results in minimal time. During treatment, our handheld device sprays pressurized CO2 gas at -110◦ F to cause “thermal shock”.  The sudden decrease in temperature rapidly activates the body’s healing responses including vasomotor, analgesic, muscle relaxant and anti-inflammatory.

With targeted cryotherapy you may feel and see instant results. For some people it may take up to 72 hours to notice and feel the results. The treatment will continue to process and benefit in your body for a up to 4-6 months. Targeted cryotherapy can be most beneficial with a series of treatments. We can recommend the frequency of treatment at your appointment.

How often should I get a treatment? How long will it last?

This is going to vary and we can't give you an exact answer because everybody's body is different. This will depend on your goals, the treatment being performed and the details around what we are treating. We can give you a better idea during your treatment, but ultimately this will vary. Most people will come for a series of treatments and then just need to come back once in awhile (possibly every few months) for a maintenance appointment.

What kind of pain or inflammation can it help?
Many kinds! Targeted cryotherapy is often recommended for individuals dealing with localized pain, inflammation, or specific injuries. Athletes, in particular, may use targeted cryotherapy to address injuries in specific muscle groups or joints, as the focused cold treatment can help reduce swelling and promote faster recovery in targeted areas. Some athletes utilize targeted cryotherapy before an event in preparation and after to help a faster recovery. Also, people with certain medical conditions, like arthritis or chronic pain, may benefit from localized cryotherapy to manage symptoms in specific regions of the body. This treatment can assist in rehabilitation post surgery. Additionally, anyone just facing aches and pains from normal life may benefit from the targeted cryotherapy treatment.

What does targeted cryotherapy do for the skin?

Cryotherapy for the skin can have several potential benefits. It is believed to stimulate collagen production, which may contribute to improved skin elasticity and firmness. The cold exposure can also promote blood circulation, leading to a rejuvenating effect on the skin. Additionally, cryotherapy is often used to reduce inflammation and redness, making it a potential option for managing certain skin conditions.

Skin and scalp conditions:
Many people suffer from chronic skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, and acne. With Targeted Cryotherapy we are able to target these areas with the symptoms and signs of these autoimmune conditions. Redness, dryness, itchiness, and pain can all be significantly reduced without any side effects. Cryo soothing treatments are available from head to toe to help relieve the symptoms of inflammatory skin conditions such as inflamed acne, eczema, & psoriasis.

We also help clients that have cellulite deposits. Research has shown they’re significantly reduced in a single treatment, and many have rid them completely after a few sessions by a combination of apoptosis and increased collagen production.

Hair Loss: Targeted cryotherapy can suppress acute and chronic inflammation in hair follicles and is best to help with mild to moderate hair loss.

Alopecia, like all autoimmune disorders, is a malfunction in the body’s immune system where white blood cells mistakenly attack cells in hair follicles, leading to mild to severe inflammation. This inflammation causes hair to fall out and to dramatically slow down hair production. Targeted cryotherapy can suppress acute and chronic inflammation in hair follicles and is best for mild to moderate hair loss.

Headaches and TMJ may be relieved with targeted cryotherapy. Streams of cool air can slow down nerve conduction and successfully suppress the pain while leaving you feeling relaxed.

Inflammation & Itching: Several skin conditions may cause your scalp to become inflamed, itchy and painful, including seborrheic dermatitis, folliculitis, and psoriasis. Targeted cryotherapy is known to help relieve these symptoms to cool and soothe the scalp.

Anti-Aging:

Cryo-Facials and Frotox is one of the hottest treatments to tighten, lift and brighten the face. It can produce an anti-aging effect and can help clients maintain a youthful appearance by targeting wrinkles, fine lines, blemishes, and scars around the eyes, nose, mouth, and chin. Repeated treatment has been linked to firmer skin and a visible improvement in skin quality. This treatment also rejuvenates the skin and production of collagen, elastin, and hydration in the epidermis, smoothing, filling out, and invigorating the skin. The Cryo-Facial and Frotox appointments only last 10-15 minutes. No downtime or injections - just instant results! These treatments can be incorporated with your regular facial services.

Natural Fat Loss with Cryo Slimming & Sculpting:

Cryo Slimming & Sculpting is non-surgical fat reduction and contouring. Utilizing our Targeted Cryotherapy, we’re able to rapidly cool the skin’s surface painlessly to 39°F in seconds, crypolipolysis (also known as fat freezing) permanently destroying underlying fat cells (apoptosis), which are then digested by the body’s waste management system without damaging any other tissue. This is the perfect tool for target body sculpting, especially fat deposits or bulges under the chin or on the body that do not respond to diet and exercise. This treatment provides the additional benefit of the improved appearance of cellulite and stretchmarks in that treatment area.

A Cryo Slimming and Sculpting session usually takes 6–8 minutes, where most clients see an immediate “inch loss” from the skin tightening, and can continue for up to 6 months.

For most clients a series of 5-6 sessions, performed once a week, is recommended for best results. Clients with a larger body mass or higher fat content may require additional treatments. Most clients see results after their first session, but sustainable change tends to become most prominent around the third and fourth sessions.

Results are permanent and unlike some procedures for fat destruction, due to the added skin toning benefits of cryotherapy, the concern of skin sagging after fat is destroyed is drastically reduced. It is recommended to have a healthy diet, and active lifestyle with exercise to promote and maintain these results.

Treatments for Cellulite & Stretch Marks:

Another amazing benefits that is known of targeted cryotherapy on the body includes tighter, more toned, and healthier skin. Research shows that cryotherapy speeds up the natural biological cell regeneration process to improve the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks (especially if they are still pink/red).

Pricing for targeted treatments depends on the size of the area.

Please note: If you are already having Cryo Slimming & Sculpting treatments on the body, cellulite and/or stretch marks will also be treated if they are located in the same area.
